For 20 years, charity Carers’ Support East Kent has been providing information and support to Carers improving their well-being, reducing isolation and placing Carers at the centre of everything we do.
In 2001, we supported 400 Carers
20 years on, we’re supporting 8,000 + Carers a year.
Most of us will become Carers at some point.
We’ll be here if you need us.
What’s happening during 2021?
We’re looking back over the last 20 years and celebrating our achievements.
COVID-19 has been particularly difficult for Carers. We’re encouraging everyone to recognise and support Carers in their own community.
20 years supporting Carers – highlights
Dover District Carers’ Support registered as a charity, 400 Carers supported.
Became Carers’ Support Dover District & Thanet and began supporting Carers in Thanet.
Became Carers’ Support – Canterbury, Dover & Thanet and began supporting Carers in Canterbury.
Became a Network Partner of Carers Trust, awarded Carers Trust Quality Award in 2019.
Became Carers’ Support East Kent, supporting over 8000 Carers a year.
