Friday 9th September 1230 – 1630 (Trek 1300 to 1430 & afternoon tea at 1500) (12 places available)

Come and meet these beautiful creatures and learn more about them. Alpacas are delightful, friendly animals who will be sure to put a smile on your face.
As well as the trek, you will receive an informative talk from one of our Trekkies. There will also be an opportunity to hand-feed the alpacas as well as lots of chances to capture the perfect photograph of your new fleecy friend to remember your Trekking Experience with us.
This is approximately a two-hour experience with the walking element expected to last about 90 minutes, depending on the pace on the day!
The walk is not difficult, there are no hills, but you must be able to walk on areas of uneven terrain.
When you’ve hung up the Alpaca reigns then relax and enjoy afternoon tea with your fellow trekkers at The Watering Hole Café.
Full activity details and meeting instructions will be provided to attendees prior to the visit.
This event is available for our registered Carers. Numbers are limited and a draw will take place for activities that are oversubscribed. If this activity proves particularly popular, we will endeavour to repeat to enable more to enjoy the experience.
