Deal Walking Tour & Afternoon Tea at The Royal

If you want to find out about Deal’s amazing history in a fun, informative and entertaining way, then join George and the team on a History Walking Tour along Deal seafront meeting at the Pier entrance.

With over 2000 years of history from the arrival of Julius Caesar, the ‘ship swallowing’ Goodwin Sands, Henry VIII’s castles, smuggling shenanigans and the famous faces of Deal; Nelson, Churchill, Hawtrey, Wisdom and more…….

The tour will last approximately 1 hour followed by Afternoon Tea, overlooking the promenade, at The Royal.

Full activity details and meeting instructions will be provided to attendees prior to the visit.

This event is available for our registered Carers. Numbers are limited and a draw will take place for activities that are oversubscribed.  If this activity proves particularly popular, we will endeavour to repeat to enable more to enjoy the experience.
