FREE online session on 14th October for Carers to find out more about Power of Attorney from local Solicitors (Girlings)
14 October 2020 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
On Wednesday 14th October at 11:00am we are delighted to have guest speaker, Charlotte Nock from Girlings Solicitors, hosting a FREE online session for Carers, about the important topic of Power of Attorney.
Power of Attorney relates to how you can help manage the affairs of someone you care for, or to help them to find an appropriate person to do this for them.
There are different types of Power of Attorney, and these relate to the different situations that Carers and the person they care for can find themselves in.
Have a look at the following situations to see which one is appropriate to you:
- The person I currently look after can make their own decisions but wants help managing their money, making payments etc.
- The person I look after currently can make their own decisions but wants to make arrangements in case they are unable to make their own decisions in the future.
- The person I look after is unable to make their own decisions and needs help.
Putting a plan in place for managing finances and personal affairs can make life easier for both the Carer and the person they care for.
Please join us for this FREE information session on Wednesday 14th October at 11:00am so that you can ask questions, find out more and make your own plans for the future.
We expect this topic to be very popular, so please book as soon as possible.
