We’re here for you
It’s been strange times for everyone since COVID-19 forced us into lockdown and things have been particularly tough for Carers, many of whom have been unable to access their usual support or get breaks from the person they look after. For those with health problems requiring shielding, it’s been even harder.
Our priority has been to keep everyone safe and well, so although we’ve been unable to provide our usual face-to-face services, Carers’ Support East Kent has been here throughout providing information, support and signposting to services by phone, email, text and online and continuing to carry out Carers’ Needs Assessments. Unfortunately, our drop-ins and support groups remain suspended but we hope we’ll be able to open them again soon.
We’re keen to expand our digital and online services to Carers so if you have ideas about what you’d like to see developed, get in touch.
