Reaching East Kent’s Carers
Understanding barriers, engaging communities and tailoring support
This survey is to help us understand any challenges you may experience in knowing about and accessing support as a Carer. By ‘Carer’ we mean if you look after a relative or friend, who due to physical or mental illness, age-related difficulties, disability, or an addiction, cannot manage without your support. We are also interested in hearing your views on what a Carer is if you identify as one and why that may prevent you from seeking support. It should take around 10 minutes of your time.
We ask questions about age, gender, ethnicity, disability, location, and how you feel. These are so we can try to understand if certain groups of Carers have different needs and how they can be helped. We are not collecting personal identification details as part of this survey e.g. we don’t ask for your name. There are no right or wrong answers. You do not have to answer any questions you don’t want to.
The information provided in the survey will be collated and shared with Carers’ Support East Kent and possible funders to help us secure further support for Carers. If you have any questions about this survey, or there is anything you would like to discuss, please get in touch. Email: surveys@carersek.org.uk
