What’s On for Carer’s Week 5th – 11th June
This week celebrates and recognises the vital contribution made by the UK’s 5.7 million Carers – over 148,341 in Kent.
A Carer is someone who, unpaid, looks after a relative or friend, who due to physical or mental illness, age-related difficulties, disability, or an addiction, cannot manage without their support.
Individuals, Carers, friends, family, community groups and organisations and local businesses can all get involved to recognise and celebrate Carers and show support.
